My dad bought some speakers in the 70s that came on these wine stem bases. I repurposed a couple for our house. One has a round walnut top made from a walnut tree that lived in front of my grandparents home. The other has a “guitar pick-shaped” (otherwise known as a reuleaux triangle) top that I made from scrap cherry I had leftover from a few random projects.
